Women can indulge in a shopping spree at the two-day jewellery-cum-apparel exhibition to be held in the Pune

Jewellery is considered a woman's most prized possession and entrepreneur Monika Kataria is here to provide Pune women with just that, at her two-day jewellery-cum-apparel exhibition. The exhibition will showcase precious and semi-precious gemstones in both gold and silver created by New York-based designer Puja Bordia.

"Puja designs the jewellery, which we have manufactured in our factory in Jaipur. The idea was to introduce the city to new designs by incorporating gemstones in jewellery. Not many people know about gemstones, so we are here to help them appreciate it," says Kataria, who has been in the business of exporting Indian handicrafts and corporate gifts for the past 12 years.

The jewellery collection includes rings, bracelets, pendants and strings with gemstones designed to suit every occasion, according to Kataria. "You can flaunt these designs with everyday wear too. It is the perfect blend of the traditional and the contemporary," she says, adding, "We also accept orders for customised jewellery."
Gemstones used in the designs include topaz, aquamarine, ruby, and emerald.u00a0u00a0

There will also be an Indo-Western line by Sonal Barmecha that includes kurtis and suits. So, women can choose the perfect outfit to complement their designer baubles. Who says that jewellery complements an outfit! We believe it's the other way around!u00a0
