Download the app, Take5, and you can book a range of beauty and wellness services, on the spot, from your smart phone.

The app launched on last Monday, offers real-time booking of all beauty and wellness services at Mumbai’s top salons and spas, on your phone. Be it a manicure, a haircut, a massage or any other service, select the treatment that you want, on the app and it will display real-time information on all the available salons and spas in your current location.
The app offers details like probable cost for the services, available time slots, salon/spa address and approximate travel time from your location, aiding in an informed decision before booking an appointment. You can also use the app to schedule an appointment at a later date, as well as pay from your mobile phone. The app is based on the Zinoti platform, a cloud-based software for salons, spas, and medi spas.
Unfortunately, there’s no option to pay-on-the-spot option, so all payments have to be made at the time of booking a service, which is a bit disappointing, especially since there’s no refund in case you miss or do not not show up for the appointment time as scheduled. However, you can cancel an appointment well over 24 hours in advance of the appointment time. But despite all these strict rules, Take5 comes across as a handy app; an option that we feel might benefit the city’s spa-goers. Expect some hard-to-miss offers on the app as well.
