We have come way ahead from the generation of VGA camera and the mere 2MP rear camera on mobile phones. As the global mobile phone market took a leap, mobile cameras have significantly improved and photography and eventually climbed up the ladder of success.
Several mobile companies are manufacturing mid-range smartphones with attractive features like fast charging batteries, finger print sensor, dual camera set-up, etc . In the era of smartphone competition, Huawei's Honor 6X is one of those smartphones that comes with a dual-camera lens on a mid-budget. Some of the noteworthy specifications of the phone include 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.5D curved glass protection, metal body, 3,340mAh battery, 4G VoLTEdual-SIM (Nano-SIM) sockets and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As mentioned earlier, Honor 6X has a dual rear camera set-up (12MP sensor+ 2MP sensor).
The dual-camera set up helps take wide-angle shots and provide accurate depth-of-field or Bokeh effect to the image. The dual rear camera captures crisp, bright, and vibrant outdoor shots, especially during daylight or sunlight. However, the camera might not perform well in low light and image quality may drop in case of evening clicks. The secondary camera is also 8MP one equipped with 77-degree wide-angle lens. The front camera is also strong enough to produce detailed, clear and bright selfies.
Review sale of Honor 6 will be held on 2nd February, 2017. After that, the smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India. It will be available in three colours- gold, grey and silver. Also, presently, only the 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt memory option will be available in the Indian market. The 3GB RAM + 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999, while 4GB RAM + 64G variant is priced at Rs. 15,999. The later version of the phone will be available sometime later in February.
