Namita Gupta: You seem to really like being part of reality shows? How come another reality show?u00a0u00a0u00a0
Milind Soman: My company Face Entertainment is the co producer, so I'm also playing judge at this Kingfisher 2011 calendar girl hunt. This time entries have come from all over the world, there are girls from Brazil, South Africa, Mexico and of course from all over India including the North East. We're shortlisting from 15 contestants, chosen from the thousands of aspirants who auditioned to be part of the reality show and they're all good. The winner of this reality contest will feature in the Kingfisher Calendar 2011. As a judge alongwith Atul Kasbekar, we're looking at beauty, body, concentration, 100% performance and consistency.

NG: What are your strengths and weaknesses?
MS: I seem to have lost the competitive feeling. My strength and endurance are very good, but I can't do things in a jiffy. I don't like to rush up stuff. I like to compete only with myself. My wild bull on a bare back was a dangerous stunt on a reality show that I did on a two-ton bull. It was fun though. I don't mind doing adventurous things and have no fear of anything. I like to do my best in whatever I do.

NG: What is it that keeps you going?
MS: There's so much to do. Life is big. I don't know what boredom is. I've never had the chance to say I'm bored. I've done TV, modeling, production, acting and reality shows. I don't like hosting shows so I just don't. I do get offers to host shows but I have to refuse as I don't enjoy them. I like to listen to my heart. If you're true to your heart, you can never fail.u00a0

NG: What do you attribute your good looks to?
MS: My health consciousness and genetics I would say. I love to swim and run. I don't like gymming so I never go to gyms. I don't like to sleep a lot, or watch too many movies or chat. If I'm given an hour, I would just like to run. Running is what keeps me going. I like to stick to my 30 kilometer run atleast four times a week.u00a0

NG: Atul Kasbekar was joking if any girls crave attention, he directs them to your room. Is it true?
MS: I've been getting that since I was a kid. First my mom, then my three sisters, girlfriends and female fans, I completely enjoy the female attention I get. As for the girls and Atul, my room number is a big secret (winks).

NG: Is Shahana the love of your life?
MS: Yes, I have been dating Shahana for two years now. And yes I was married once, but it didn't last long, though I would have loved to make it last. I have met many wonderful girls in the past who have been a precious part of my lives. Shahana is incredible and we're going steady. She's 21 years younger to me and shows me a very different world from what I see of it. Every relationship is very different and what you want of it is also different as you move through life. I don't like to plan, but I do like to organise.u00a0u00a0

NG: What was your overall experience at the Battle of the Bikinis where the girls were made to strut more than just bikinis? Would you like to share any behind-the-scenes, the tasks performed by the models or what you felt about the camaraderie shared by the models?
MS: After a while, as Atul Kasbekar said they are just a piece of furniture. But the tasks that they are given are all not as easy as they look, like posing on a jet plane, a moving car, doing an Alicia Silverstone bike stunt, sitting on a horseback and posing sexy, yet natural.

NG: Who's the real Milind Soman and what's next up his sleeve?
MS: I find trees and dogs friendly, but not men. I don't like to hang out in a bar with beer buddies or watch soccer. That's not me. You would never see me do something like that. That doesn't mean I'm not sporty. I am very sporty but only when it comes to running (we even spotted him doing his 30k run, without his ipod on). I love spending time with girls. I also love to read. I have some land in Alibagh and Lonavla and soon plan to set up a hotel there.
