In an attempt to warm things up for the upcoming fashionu00a0season, The PopUp Show, a boutique fashion exhibition, will bring merchandise created by a diverse mix of successful and innovative designers all together on one platform. Showcasing an array of Indian and international styles from different fashion avenues, be it prêt, resort, or couture, this show includes names such as Rohan Arora, Preeti Jhawar and others, each known for their unique and different trends.

“Surbhi Dalmia and I had founded and conceptualised the show together”, informs Priyanka Agarwal. “We met last year while organising an NGO fundraiser, and since we both had interesting ideas and found each other easy to work with, we decided to manage the show together. This show is our way of bringing products by designers that are relatively unavailable and inaccessible, to Mumbai. We have invited roughly 20 and 25 designers, each specialising in different avenues. Hence, every collection will stand out, without overlapping or contradicting the rest. In fact, most designers are creating special designs for the show — mostly, comfortable, daily wear for the upcoming autumn and winter seasons. Also, we’ve kept the show small, as we would rather focus on quality than quantity.”
Isha Kapoor, one of the participating designers will display her label Aikeyah, known for its bohemian-inspired silhouettes. She further divulged that she’s set to display light hues with minimal detailing apt for the season. “Customers can expect classy, free-flowing and comfortable silhouettes”, she adds.
