Film buffs get an opportunity to watch award-winning documentary films from around the world at DocEdge, the documentary film fest hosted by Max Mueller Bhavan
Starting today, you can catch a rare mix of documentary films from Germany, Baltic States, China and India that will be screened at DocEdge, a documentary film festival hosted by the Max Mueller Bhavan. The 11 films include a selection of entries from the DOK Leipzig Film Festival, as well as other award-winning films. The subjects of the films are diverse: ranging from the life of extremists to an artist's journey, to farmer suicides in India. Anja Dunkel, programming assistant at Max Mueller Bhavan, is positive that this festival will get a good response. "We have screened German films before and the response has been pretty good," she says. The Guide picks three must-watch films that will be screened at DocEdge.
