I am a: Complete non-vegetarian.

In vegetarian food I love: paneer mahkani.


In non-vegetarian food I love: butter chicken.



I begin my day with: a litre of water.

My breakfast is: always white oats.

My lunch is: brown rice, tofu curry and curds.

My evening snack is: protein shake.

My dinner is: vegetable stew or boiled chicken with steamed veggies.

In sweets I like: I just love Nutty-Buddy.

My fitness regimen is: Monday, Wednesday and Friday weight training. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday cardio and abs. I work out approximately one and half hours everyday... I do have carbs. I usually work out in the mornings. Fitness has to be a way of life and discipline.

My favourite restaurants abroad: I like the food at Rosa Mexicana, New York.

In Mumbai, I love the food of: dhabas.

I can cook: all my wife's favourite dishes.

My favourite cooks in my family are: mother and wife. My mother cooks amazing chole and my wife makes mouth-watering butter chicken.

My idea of a romantic meal is: I cook for my wife while she for me each other's favourite dishes. I like chilling at home with her.

My Sunday lunch is: low fat chicken curry with brown rice.

One thing I can't resist buying: sweets.

I feel guilty after eating: I can't help saying this, but yes sweets. It actually shows how much I love them.

My childhood memory of food comprises: when we were kids, every weekend the whole family would have dinner together at a restaurant. We would either dine out at Moti Mahal or Golden Dragon. My sister and I would really look forward for this dining out the whole week.u00a0u00a0

I think I resemble a: Mango.

My fridge always has: granola bars.

I always carry with me: nutrition bars/dry fruits.

My comfort food: butter chicken.

I am allergic to: constant dieting so I give it a break once a month and gorge on whatever I want.

My favourite spice: my wife.

A confession: I have a sweet tooth.

My favourite beverage: nimbu pani.

My favourite kitchen appliances: non-stick pan.

My favourite foods are: Mughlai, Mexican, Italian...
I think I should stop here.


Shiney Ahuja's favourite recipe: Low calorie toasted sandwich


Ingredients

4 to 6 eggs
4 slices brown bread
1 tsp honey
1 tsp mustard paste
4 tsp fat free mayonnaise
1 slice slim cheese (grated)
Sufficient Nutrilite butter
1 tomato (cut into thin roundels)
1 onion (cutu00a0 into thin rings)
4 lettuce leaves

Method

Boil the eggs. Discard the yolks. Mash the egg whites in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix honey, mustard paste and mayonnaise. Add this to the egg whites and mix well until there is a smooth consistency. Add the grated cheese. Mix well. Toast the bread, spread the butter evenly. Arrange the lettuce leaves, spread the egg white mixture on the toast, top it with tomato and onion rings and place another toast to make sandwiches. Cut diagonally into two.
