Dear Diana, I am 27 and in love with a girl who recently got engaged to someone of her parents choice.
I think she is the perfect match for me. But her folks think otherwise. To make matters worse her fiancé has come to know about our relationship. I have accepted that I can’t live with her but at the same time I can’t live without her. She says she can’t go against her parents’ wishes. What should I do?

Dear Ranjit,
You need to move on ASAP. If this girl was committed to you, she would not have agreed to the engagement. Her parents may have felt the match is best for her but strangely she did nothing to stop them. They were well aware of your relationship, so why did you not talk to her folks prior to her engagement? You can’t point fingers at her fiance. He had no clue what was going on. He has now come to know about it and is obviously seeing red. It is better that you forget this girl and move on in life. She does not care for your feelings.
