'My hubby pays more attention to our dogs than me'

Dear Diana, I'm not very fond of dogs. My husband, unfortunately, is. In fact, there are three dogs in our house.

I keep myself away from them although my hubby indulges them a lot. My kid is also fond of them. Sometimes I feel that my husband pays more attention to the dogs’ need than mine. I seldom see him treating me as royally as he treats our pets. Or am I being overtly insecure here?

Dear Paulomi,
It looks like you are leading a dog’s life while the dogs are living it up. There are many people out there who dig dogs. Your hubby is a canine lover while you are not. Dog lovers can go to any extent to pamper their pets. For them, they are a family member who need to be indulged. Your fears are unwarranted as your husband spends time with his pets and you away from it. The end result is that you feel ignored as your kid too loves to play with the pets. You have two options. Either become a dog lover or stop being felt ignored. Instead pursue something that you like and let your husband and kid tend to the pooches.

Diana will solve it!
