The study of 2,498 women for Cosmopolitan magazine found that some 73 per cent of those questioned suffer body paranoia, reports the Daily Express.

However, their confidence is high between the sheets, with six in 10 rating themselves good in bed, according to the survey.
The study also revealed that a third are having the best sex ever and it is "getting better" for half of those questioned.
Only one per cent said their sex life was a "no-go disaster area" while half engage in role play, take sexy snaps or get amorous in a public place.
In a regional breakdown, the North-east appeared to be the best place for the bedroom with 35 per cent saying sex was better than ever.
But 40 per cent of those in London complained it didn't happen enough.
