Four of the best beaches to get a sexy sun tan

Popular TV series Baywatch made us all aspire for that oh-so-delicious sun tan, thanks to lifeguards Pamela, Cody, Yasmeen & Co. Theu00a0Trip gladly did an extended session of beach bumming to zero in on four cool beach fronts to get that bronzed tan.

Ipanema (Brazil)

Along with its popular twin Copacabana, these two beaches have transformed Rio's seafront into a sunbather's paradise.

Dubbed as the sexiest beach in the world by The Travel Channel, Ipanema is a haven not just for sunbathers, but also for surfers (waves rise up to 9 feet), sports enthusiasts, cyclists, performers and walkers.

Its feisty Street Carnival is a must-visit in Rio's calendar. Dotted by plush hotels, beach cafes and resorts, Ipanema remains the most sought after seaside address in Brazil.



Palm Beach (Aruba)

When the Beach Boys vouched for Aruba in their 1980s hit Kokomo; they were probably referring to Palm Beach.

This superb white-sand beach put tiny Aruba in the Caribbean Islands, on the tourist map. Several publications, including Cond ufffd Nast Traveler, have hailed it as one of the 12 best beaches in the world.
