Q. Lean On was one of the biggest hits this summer. What was the creative process involved in its production?
A. Lean On was a brainchild of Major Lazer i.e. eccentric music by Diplo and some funky beats by me. This was one of my biggest collaborations. When Diplo drops a beat, it creates history! When Snake drops a beat, it creates history! This one was bound to be the best.

Q. The video was shot near Mumbai. Did you manage to go sightseeing?
A. We had limited time to shoot this video, and I had pending shows lined up. I did get a chance to meet a lot of warm, welcoming Indians, though. I encountered a few cops who were scandalised by a bus full of dancers commuting to the shoot.

Q. You did a few Bollywood moves in the video. Have you come across the work of
Indian musicians?
A. That was fun! I have not been able to get acquainted with any Indian musician yet, but I do believe a handful of them are going to be performing at the Sunburn Festival.
