The Secret of Secrets: A new addition to Dan Brown’s thrillers, featuring his hero Robert Langdon, made it to the shelves last week. Langdon, a professor of religious iconology and symbology at Harvard University, is visiting Prague with his love interest Katherine Solomon.

Solomon, who has been invited for a lecture, one day disappears from their hotel room. Langdon must use his knowledge to delve into the city’s past, and move through its dark bridges, churches, and castles to recover his partner.
Blood in the Water: Kaylani’s family gathers at Martha’s Vineyard with the Watsons one summer in Tiffany D Jackson’s novel. Young Kaylani tries to make friends. She is fascinated by history, loves ice cream, and finds comfort on the beach.

City of Destruction: In Vaseem Khan’s new novel, set in Bombay (now Mumbai) of 1950s, a lone gunman tries to assassinate a newly appointed minister but is shot down by detective Persis Wadia.

The Malabar House team is called to find the co-conspirators. Meanwhile, another case of a burned body of a white man found on the beach begins to open up. The team must solve both mysteries.

High Potential (2024): Morgan (played by Kaitlin Olson) is a single mom with a high intellectual potential. On her shift as a cleaner at the LAPD, she rearranges an important piece of evidence, which catapults the team into solving a crime.

At first agitated by her interference in the matter, the department realises that she has an extraordinary mind. She joins the team as a consultant, and proves to be indispensable. The first episode of the new season releases this week.

The Residence (2025): When a murder takes place at the White House, lovable and eccentric detective Cordelia Cupp (played by Uzo Aduba) is called in to investigate.

The murder happens during a State dinner, which makes every guest and staff member a suspect. They’re called in for interrogation and things begin to unfold. Cupp’s birdwatching skills help her understand humans, and she uses it to find out who lied, who was deceitful, and who committed the murder.
