I think that it is the perfect Bambaiya term to say ‘nikal’ or get lost. Now, it can be used to tell someone to get lost or to remind yourself that you have to make yourself scarce. It is a unique term that comes from what I call the Anthony Gonsalves Dictionary of Mumbai, alongside words like ‘apun’. People from another city might never understand the word.
