Muzaffarnagar: A 15-year-old dalit girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Sikri village here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the victim had gone to relieve herself and the accused identified as Shahvaiz, dragged her to nearby sugarcane field and raped her.
A case has been registered against the accused on basis of a complaint filed by the victim's father. The accused has been arrested and the girl sent for medical examination, they said.
