Jamshedpur: Husband strangles wife over family feud

Jamshedpur: A 38-year-old woman was today strangulated allegedly by her husband over a family feud in Safigunj here, police said. The accused husband, Manoj Sharma, a private security guard, was arrested, the police said.

Following an altercation between the couple, police said Sharma strangled his wife, Nutan Sharma to death in a fit of rage. Nutan was immediately rushed to Tata Main Hospital, where doctors declared her dead, they said.
