“We received a tip-off that a person would be coming to the gate of the college in Viman Nagar on Tuesday evening. Accordingly we laid a trap and nabbed him with the contraband,” API Vinod Patil of the ANC said.

During interrogation, Kedav revealed that he himself was a junkie and was even addicted to snake bites. “He brings contraband from Goa and Tamil Nadu, and sells it to prospective customers in the city. His primary targets are college students,” patil said.

A case was registered against Kedav at the Airport police station under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, and would be produced in the court today.u00a0
