A scuffle between two children at Chiti village in Greater Noida lead to a gun battle between their parents in which three persons suffered bullet injuries, police said on Wednesday. Besides, five others were also injured after being assaulted with sticks, they said. The children of Rajvir and Sunil had a scuffle last night. Soon after, the elders from their families got into a verbal spat.

As the tension escalated, they hit each other with sticks and later pulled out guns and fired shots. The injured were admitted at a local hospital. An FIR has been filed in this regard at Dankaur Police station, its SHO Farmood Ali said, adding that the accused were absconding.
