The body of a man was found hanging between two big hoardings near the Momin Nagar fly over at Jogeshwari west on Tuesday morning. It was decomposed and the police said he might have hung himself two or more days back.
According to the police, local residents were troubled by a foul smell and someone noticed the man’s body hanging between the two big hoardings. The Amboli police and the fire brigade were informed. The body was brought down and taken to a nearby hospital.
“The deceased might have hanged himself two or more days back, as the body was decomposed and emanated a foul smell. His identity has not been established yet,” said an official from Amboli police station. “On the basis of primary information, we have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and further investigation is underway,” said another officer.
