An unlimited thali and a range of snacks, that is what the 24-hour food plaza will offer for suburban commuters at the Chhatrapti Shivaji Terminus.
The food plaza was thrown open for public by Central Railway general manager B B Modgil on Monday.
Built on an area of 1,200 square feet, the plaza will offer a range of cuisines from South Indian, continental to Chinese. While the first floor will sport a heritage look and will have seating arrangements for dining, the ground floor will have arrangement for commuters to stand and eat.
While an unlimited thali will be offered at Rs 50, commuters can try out combo meals such as puri chole, dal rice, chole bhature and pav bhaji at a price range between Rs 20 and Rs 30.
Items such as dosas, uttapam and wadas is also on the menu. That's not all, commuters can also try out items such as pizzas, burgers, juices and pastries among others.
