Building collapses in Colaba, 1 dead and 5 injured

One person died and 5 were injured after the roof of an under-construction chawl in Colaba, Mumbai came crashing down today morning.

The deceased, a 16-year-old boy, was one of the labourers.

Eye witnesses say the roof gave away after several bricks were loaded on top of it injuring 5 othrs.

Regarding the injured, doctors say their condition is stable as they were rescued from the debris in time.

All of the survivors have sustained head injuries.
