Thirty-six days from now, Central Railway (CR) will add Diva to its list of stations where fast trains can halt. For four Sundays, however — one today and three in October — there will be 10-hour mega blocks.

On Sunday, the special block will begin at 8.30am on the Down (towards Kalyan) slow line at Diva station and shall go on till 6.30 pm.The tentative dates for the other blocks are October 2, 16 and 23, depending on how work goes today. This will lead to the cancellation of nearly 180 train services, with even train timings of long-distance trains being altered, and some could be cancelled as well.
