A fire broke out in a furniture shop in Worli on Wednesday evening but no casualty was reported.
The fire brigade got a call of a fire at Poddar Furniture on Annie Beasant Road around 6 pm.
Two fire engines and one tanker were sent to the spot. Since the shop is located on the ground floor, the brigade did not have any difficulty dousing the flames.
The fire was brought under control within half hour.
