Cops have arrested two men who allegedly molested a girl at Marine Drive on December 31 evening.
According to the police, the accused, Nilesh Santosh Rai, and Sajjad Ali Jahid Ali Khan had parked their car at Girgaum Chowpatty where the 22-year-old Sewri-resident was standing with her friends.
The duo reportedly misbehaved with the woman and touched her inappropriately. The victim raised an alarm and cops patrolling the area caught the men and took them to Marine Drive police station, where the FIR was registered.
Both the accused are residents of Vasai and work in a private firm. API Sudhir Dalvi of Marine Drive police station said, “Based on the girl’s complaint, we registered the case under Section 354 of the IPC. The court remanded the accused to police custody.”
