Nargis Datt Nagar is located on MHADA land, where the body had made ground plus one structures for slum dwellers. However, many people constructed additional illegal floors. The BMC was roped in for the demolition, since MMRDA is the planning authority for the land.

“Notices have been given to 35 more structures and 15 others will get notices next week. They are expected to demolish the structure themselves within 48 hours or we take action. The drive will go on for another 15 days,” said an official from H/West ward office.
