Looks as if every Bollywood face, past or present, is in the mood to write a book. Interestingly, self-help seems to be the most favoured topic when it comes to putting pen to paper. The latest to jump on the book bandwagon is Sonali Bendre Behl.

When children take over the canvas
Mumbai-based NGO Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, founded by mural artist Rouble Nagi, helps lesser privileged children from about 62 slums, realise and achieve their goals via the medium of art.

“We usually train children from the age of five. Recently, we exhibited the works of some of our older students, aged eight to 18 years. Post this, their works will be available on sale at our studio.
The art camps help them achieve a sense of respect and an identity when they work as a team for an art project. It’s immensely satisfying that their works are being exhibited and appreciated,” admits Nagi.
“Many of these children are school dropouts. Art helps them communicate and express themselves unlike any other platform. I keep trying to push them to complete their education,” she adds. The works are a mix of acrylic on canvas, crayon works and watercolours on paper.
Nariyal Paani, Alibaug style
First Diu and now Alibaug, Goa’s title as the sole beach party destination is now in troubled waters. The second edition of Nariyal Paani, to be held on January 23 and 24, 2016, will offer a heady mix of music, ranging from Indie, Electro-Pop and Alternative Rock to mellow Folk.
The two-day affair will be held at a secluded location by the sea in the sleepy coastal escape — a short boat ride away from Mumbai. Earlier this month, it was announced that Diu would play host to Asia’s longest running beach festival of 75 days in December. What next?
