It's only been a week since the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) introduced travel kits for combating swine flu to air passengers, and already over 2,000 such kits have been sold from 10 counters at the domestic and international terminals so far. The kits, priced at Rs 500 apiece, will be sold till November 30.

Each kit contains a facemask, and Receptol, an immunity booster oral spray, that can be self-administered.
"We had not expected to sell over 2,000 masks in a week.

Dr Suresh V Rang, a chest physician, at Jaslok Hospital, however said that immunity boosters like Receptol do not work. "Such immunity boosters are artificial and can harm our body.
Catching an infection depends on the body's immunity. Avoid crowded places and wear masks if you want to keep swine flu away.
A good diet and staying happy are the best immunity boosters," he added.
About Receptol
Receptol is a dairy-based oral spray that manufacturers claim can be used to treat common communicable and viral diseases.
