Girish Khote (37), a rickshaw driver, lived on the 14th floor of Nakshatra Tower at Golden Nest Complex in Mira Road with his wife Madhumati (35). After killing her, Khote confessed to a cousin, who then informed the police.

According to Mira Road police, Khote had stored two pieces of the body in the refrigerator and one piece under the bed for the past two days. Senior PI Dinkar Pingle said, “When we questioned him, he confessed and told us where he had hidden the body parts.”u00a0
