A 25-year-old television actress and model, who featured in a popular music video recently, registered a rape complaint against a businessman at Kurar police station yesterday.
The Delhi resident said in her statement that she met the accused, identified as Chirag Gupta, 31, on a matrimonial website. Initial investigations have revealed that Gupta was already married.
In her statement, she has alleged that the two were living together at a flat in Goregaon. Investigations have revealed that the Park Side police had also arrested Gupta in 2006 for raping a woman, and making a false marriage promise.
