The new Mumbai municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta on Saturday took a review meeting of all civic officials which went on for 6 hours.
The meeting was to review monsoon preparedness of the city and did not discuss the controversial draft Development Plan or the Hawking policy.
The commissioner took note of the report released by the NGO Praja recently which had pointed out delays in citizens' complaint redressal on part of the BMC. He instructed his officials to work towards achieving less number of complaints. The assistant commissioners of each ward made a presentation before the commissioner.
