Sanjay Gadhvi's next was to be 7 Days in Paris with Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, that project got shelved after Katrina walked out.
Imran too delayed the film after demanding a new script and another A-list leading lady to replace Kat.
Sources reveal that Sanjay has abandoned 7 days and is planning a new project A source reveals, "7 days in Paris will now be 7 days in Punjab.
There was no development on the project for months. Imran also rejected Sanjay's suggestion that they take a newcomer.
"For the new film, the basic idea is the same, but the backdrop is Punjab. This also means cutting down on the budget and a chance to give the story a desi flavour.
Gadhvi is currently in the casting stage. Imran and Katrina won't be part of the project." Gadhvi refused to comment.
