In yet another attempt of a cop trying to take his own life, a police constable attempted suicide at the guard quarters in Thane, late on Thursday night.

The constable has been identified as Sagar Maluskar. He shot himself with an SLR at around 11:45 pm on Thursday. The bullet hit his shoulder. He was rushed to the Jupiter hospital in Thane.
