Short-staffed FDA asks chemists to fill forms

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Maharashtra has asked 75,000 Chemist shop owners across Maharashtra to conduct a self-assessment procedure on account of a staff crunch that the FDA is facing

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Maharashtra has asked 75,000 Chemist shop owners across Maharashtra to conduct a self-assessment procedure on account of a staff crunch that the FDA is facing. The procedure will require each chemist to fill out a form with details of whether the chemist has the requisite license and will be required to submit it by March 31, 2012.
