Officials of the MHB police station are on the lookout for 42 year-old Pravin Kadu for almost bludgeoning his father Prabhakar (79) to death with a baton used for washing clothes
Police officials said the incident occurred on December 22 around 8 pm at Vitthal Dhobi chawl in Borivli (West) after Kadu got highly irritated seeing his father scratch his private parts continuously.u00a0
They said Kadu confronted his father and soon the two had a heated argument. This angered Kadu so much that he picked up the baton used for washing clothes and clubbed Prabhakar with it, inflicting grievous injuries to his body. Prabhakar was rushed to Bhagwati hospital.u00a0
It was based on Pravin’s mother Pratibha’s complaint that police officials booked him under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). u00a0
