Take it easy, Urvashi

Revathy Varma's Aap Ke Liye Hum has run into problems with Urvashi Sharma walking out of the film leaving the producer and director fuming.


The film stars Ayesha Takia, Jaya Bachchan, R Madhavan and Raveena Thadani.

Revathy says, "Urvashi Sharma shot with us for a day and then refused to give us further dates. When the co-producer Prerna Arora asked her for dates, she did not respond.

Urvashi did not bother to reply to my messages either. Then we heard that she was shooting an item number from a South film on the dates she had given us.

Urvashi has behaved very unprofessionally. We have decided to replace her."

Priyanka Kothari?

Adds Revathy, "We are currently in talks with Priyanka Kothari for the role. We had approached Sonal Chauhan for Urvashi's role but she refused because she is shooting for a Kannada film on those dates.

I don't know where the rumours about her replacing Ayesha came from. Maybe, Sonal's publicist made the story public."

Revathy further clarifies that it Ayesha has at no point contemplated walking out of the film. "Ayesha is very happy with the film.

In fact, she cancelled her honeymoon and London holiday to shoot for my film. She plays the protagonist who adopts a Muslim lady as her mother (Jaya Bachchan).

Twenty per cent of Aap Ke Liye Hum has been shot. Revathy will resume shooting in a month's time. Urvashi remained unavailable for comment.
