A 28-year-old man was rescued from Bhandup by the fire brigade yesterday afternoon.
Rajendra Gechand was taken to Mulund General hospital after being fished out from the Shivaji lake around 2 pm, where the doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
In a similar incident, 30-year-old Kisan Waghmare was found in the creek in Pestom Sagar area around 2.30 pm.
He was taken to the nearby Rajawadi hospital where he was declared brought dead.
