In the next two days he will be Mumbai's first citizen. On March 5, Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, clad in a pair of boxers, received his first bouquet from a party worker.
Mahadeshwar, a two-time corporator and a resident of Santacruz, is a former principal of the Raje Sambhaji Junior College.
