1 It is an anti-corruption bill aimed at accountabi-lity and transpa-rency from the government. It should be independent from outside influences.

2 Not in the form that is being proposed presently. None of the panelists have been democratically elected, and their judgment may not coincide with that of the public.

3 If the bill elects members through the representative democratic process, everyone should be brought under its ambit, even the PM and judiciary. No one is above the law.

Madhvi Gajwani (30), Lokhandwala

Questions
Q 1 What is the Lokpal?
Q 2 Do you feel Lokpal can curb corruption?
Q 3 Should the Prime Minister and the Judiciary be brought under the purview of the Lokpal?
