The deceased, Kaisar Fakaruddin Choudary, reportedly hanged herself from the fan on the mezzanine floor of her G.N. Colony residence near Sakinaka at 9 am, police said.

According to the police, the reason for the drastic step is believed to be a conflict between Kaisar and her sister-in-law, Arban Nisa Choudary, over the purchase of milk from a nearby shop.

At the time of the incident, Kaisar’s husband, Fakaruddin Choudary, was away at work.

“The incident took place at 9 a.m. because of the dispute within the family. There is no arrest and Kaisar left no suicide letter. We have filed an Accidental Death Report and the investigations are currently on,” said sub-inspector Bajirao Naik of Sakinaka police station.
