Former Maharashtra chief minister and opposition leader Devendra Fadanvis demanded arrest of assistant police inspector (API) Sachin Vaze in Mansukh Hiran death case.
“Why he is not being arrested under Section 201 of IPC (destroying evidence)? Who is defending him?” Fadnavis said in Maharashtra Assembly on Tuesday

Fadanvis added that Hiran’s wife had said in her statement that Sachin Vaze is behind the death of her husband.
It was earlier reported that Mansukh Hiran had written a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister and Home Minister alleging that he was being harassed by police and media.
Hiran (46), owner of the explosives-laden Scorpio found outside Mukesh Ambani’s residence, was found dead in a creek in Thane last week.
