A trainee photographer doing his internship with mid-day, rescued a snake that was holed up inside a taxi parked near Mahatma Gandhi hospital in Parel.

According to the photojourno Ajinkya Sawant, the snake identified as a green vine snake, was crawling up towards the passenger seat of the taxi from the rear tyre. However, few people saw the reptile and raised an alarm.
Sawant, who was on duty in Parel reached the spot and rescued the snake.
