In a move set to enhance the commuting experience for millions of Mumbaikars, Mumbai Metro One has announced the opening of four 7-Eleven convenience stores on Versova, DN Nagar, Azad Nagar, and Marol Naka stations. This marks the first-ever entry of 7-Eleven into India’s metro ecosystem, offering world-class convenience retail to daily commuters.

The new stores will provide a wide range of products, from quick refreshments and fresh food to daily essentials, bringing the global 7-Eleven experience to Mumbai’s metro network.

The initiative is part of Reliance Retail’s continued commitment to introducing innovative and accessible retail formats that align with the evolving lifestyles of urban India.

Speaking on the opening of the stores, Shyamantak Choudhury, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Mumbai Metro Line-1, said, “Happy to share that 7-Eleven, the global convenience store brand, has now opened four outlets at Mumbai Metro One stations — a first for any metro network in India. This marks another step towards enhancing commuter convenience and elevating the overall metro experience.”

With the launch, commuters can now grab a quick coffee, a refreshing drink, a snack on the go, or stock up on essentials during their daily travel.
