MMRDA’s 271st executive committee meeting concludes; major impetus on expediting ongoing infrastructure project in MMR

The  271st Meeting of Executive Committee meeting of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority was held on Friday under the Chairmanship of Manu Kumar Srivastava, Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra. During the meeting major focus was laid on expediting and providing necessary support to the ongoing infrastructure projects in Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The key approvals given during the meeting were the approval for the improvement of road infrastructure, stormwater drain, road furniture and other allied work from Kasheli Toll Plaza to Anjurphata along the alignment of Mumbai Metro Line - 5 on Thane-Bhiwandi - Wadapa Road ( SSH84 ) ( CA 138 ).

Approval was also given for the construction of Kasarwadvali and Bhayndarpada Solid Ramps on Ghodbunder Road as additional works under CA 54 in Thane City Limits. The contractor will be carried out the construction on the basis of MCGM SOR (2018) Rate card.

TBM Mavala completed its 1000 meters of tunneling on its 2nd drive from Girgaon Chowpaty to Priyadarshini Park. 50 per cent of the 2nd tunnel has been completed by the authority.
