The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation recently gave a stern warning to Mumbaikars and said that they will 'gatecrash' big fat Indian wedding celebrations where appropriate COVID-19 behaviour is not being followed. In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the BMC has started taking action against the owners and management of gyms, hotels, restaurants, and marriage halls where people are seen without masks or caught violating COVID-19 norms.
