Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde celebrated his birthday today with his party members. On the occasion of his birthday, the Chief Minister treated citizens of Mumbai with the inauguration of Kopri Bridge. The bridge is the main connector between Mumbai and Thane and in its new avatar – eight lanes -- will ease peak hour traffic congestion, bringing solace to commuters travelling towards Thane, Navi Mumbai, and Mumbai. The bridge will also be a relief for motorists travelling from Mumbai towards Thane, Nashik, Gujarat, and Pune. Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, his wife Amruta Fadnavis and Union Minister Amit Shah poured in wishes for the Chief Minister via twitter
