He had allegedly duped about 300 people
He duped nearly 300 people to the tune of thousand crores rupees after promising them high interest rates and returns on their investments. One of his victims had even committed suicide.

two associates by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police in 2009.

On Tuesday afternoon, Subash Aggarwal, the alleged cheat, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. A senior police officer said that they got a call from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital in Punjabi Bagh area that Aggarwal had died after falling form third floor of his office at around 12:30 pm.
A case was registered against Subash, his wife and two associates by Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police. Subash was then arrested on June 13. The police filed a 3000-page chargesheet against him in Rohini court. Sources said that Subash had gathered around Rs 1,000 crore from investors across the capital. He was later released on bail.
On Tuesday, his family told the police that Subash had left home for office (which is near his home) for some urgent work. "At around 10 am, he got a call and told us that he was going out to meet someone. Two hours after he left home, we got a call saying that he was lying in a pool of blood below his office. We reached the spot and rushed him to hospital but he was declared brought dead," said his family members to the police.
His 'victim' had committed suicide
In June 2009, when Subash Aggarwal's fraud came to light, one of his victim's reportedly committed suicide.
The man, 25-year-old Ashok Gupta, had consumed poison at his Aman Vihar house in northwest Delhi. He was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial hospital where he died during treatment. His family members claimed that he had deposited hundreds of thousands of rupees in Aggarwal's firm and had become tense after coming to know that he had been cheated.
