25-year-old woman kept getting dreams of 'ghost' clad in white saree, says neighbour

A 25-year-old woman who was reportedly addicted to horror films committed suicide by hanging herself at her Camp residence yesterdayu00a0 morning.
The deceased was identified as Bhavana Pardeshi, resident of Patange Wada near Bhopala chowk in Camp.
After the incident came to light at 10.30 am, she was immediately shifted to Sassoon hospital but was declared dead on arrival at 11.40 am by the on-duty doctors.
The police said Bhavana had done her schooling from the Camp Education Society and was a commerce graduate. Currently, she was doing her M Com course externally from another college.
On Thursday morning, Bhavana was found hanging in her residence. One of the family member immediately noticed her and took her to the Sassoon hospital. Bhavana breathed her last on the way to the hospital.
"Bhavana was addicted to horror films since the past three months. She was getting nightmares about some 'soul' of a woman in a white saree," said a neighbour, who did not want to be named. "Bhavana had also gone to her cousin's place in Mumbai last week. But when she returned on Wednesday she was feeling weak and disturbed."
Police Inspector Sushma Chavan from Cantonment police station could not be reached for comments.
