Panaji: Fourteen-year-old tigress "Sandhya", one of the oldest and most popular inmates of the state's only zoo at Bondla in south Goa, died on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the state's Forest Department said that the tigress died of "natural causes".
She was brought from Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in Visakhapatnam in 2009.
