Television and film actor, Vinay Apte breathed his last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri West yesterday
The 62-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital on Friday, according to Dr Ram Narain, director of the hospital.

u00a0“He died at 5.45 pm yesterday. He was admitted at 8.24 pm onFriday. He succumbed to a multi-organ failure,” said Dr Narain,adding that Apte was also suffering from Acute Coronary Syndrome which afflicts a person due to obstruction of the coronary arteries.
Apte was known for his work in Jogwa, Rajneeti and Aarakshan. He was also part of Marathi television serial Durva.u00a0
