Bengalooru Habba from Feb 15 to 22

After a lot of wait and confusion as to who will organise Bengalooru Habba, it has been decided that a private organizations will host the Habba.

"After a lot of negotiation with the government, we've decided the dates of Bengalooru Habba. It will be held from February 15 to 22. We are making sure nothing goes wrong this time as we can't postpone it further," said Nandini Alva, member of AFFA.

Transport Minister R Ashok had said that Habba celebrations would be named after Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, the founder of Bangalore. "More thrust would be given to local culture and art events and the annual Bangalore Karaga would be made part of the festivities," he said.

"The Habba has already been delayed too much. We are working hard to make the event as colorful as ever," said Radmini Ravi, member of AFFA.
